Stories. Not a blog. was conceived in 2019, when I found myself needing an anonymous space to share all of the dumb and cringe-worthy stories I’ve saved up from my childhood, teenage years and early-twenties. As crazy and far-fetched as many of my stories may sound, rest assured that they are all true. This (not a) blog is, after all, a mediocre attempt at an autobiography. Some random ramblings will be added every now and then, but you are (highly) encouraged not to read them. More often than not, you will find yourself wishing you’d never clicked on any of them in the first place. Welcome. Stick around if you want to.
What does the C. W. stand for? Christian Woldegabriel
Is that your real name? No.
Do you post every day? I try to be consistent, but ultimately the answer is NO. I may go a week or two without posting every now and then, but I usually come back with a vengeance; posting multiple times a day or almost daily until I get “tired” again.
Do you have any social media? Currently NO, but I did have a Facebook profile once upon a time. It was awful.
Were you someone else (online) once upon a time? Yes, I was an ugly fella that went by M. R. These days I go by C. W.. New name, same ugly.
What does SNAB stand for? SNAB is an acronym for Stories. Not a blog.
Why are your stories written that way? To make a long explanation short: I want my stories to feel as organic and authentic as possible. I could easily spend time editing and polishing them, but somewhere along the line they would lose their cringy spark. I want you, dear stranger, to feel as if we are close friends having a chat. You have been kind enough to ask me about myself (something I rarely allow people to do) and with a lot of love and trust I have decided to share with you a little piece of my silly (and mostly over dramatic) little heart.
