Throwaway “Poem” No. II: (my darling, my sweet)

How are you, my love? (my darling, my sweet) I hope you are well, (my darling, my sweet) That you're happy and safe, (my darling, my sweet) I'm missing you so, (my darling, my sweet)

I'm tired myself, (too tired to speak!) BUT today of all days, (my darling, my sweet) More than any other day, (my darling, my sweet) I am missing you so, (my darling, my sweet)

[KNOW I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU]

I don't know your name, (my darling, my sweet) And I don't know your face, (my darling, my sweet) BUT I still love you so, (my darling, my sweet) How I love you so, (my darling, my sweet)

Will you ever know? (my darling, my sweet) How I love you so? (my darling, my sweet) Will fate let us know? (my darling, my sweet) If we're meant to be, (my darling, my sweet) Or if we'll ever meet, (my darling, my sweet)

[KNOW I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU]

Be good and be kind, (my darling, my sweet) And know that I love you, (my darling, my sweet) Forever I'll love you, (my darling, my sweet)

And to your beloved, (my darling, my sweet) Know that I love her, (my darling, my sweet) Even if it means, (my darling, my sweet) You can never be mine, (my darling, my sweet)
